Thank you, Carl and Sharon for your beautiful legacy testimony! #75JubileeAnnivesary

CARL & SHARON SCHULTER LEGACY TESTIMONY
We are ‘Cradle Catholics” who grew up in the Northeast.
We moved to Memphis, TN, when Carl was accepted
into a residency at UT. We worshiped at Resurrection
Catholic Church. It was a beautiful community with
many young families that have remained lifelong
friends.

We moved to Germantown in 1988 and became
parishioners at OLPH. Initially, we worshiped in the
Chapel. As the church community continued to grow,
we saw the construction of a new church, followed
by the establishment of the school. Now, we are looking
forward to the unveiling of our newly renovated
Sanctuary on our 75th Jubilee Year.

The pandemic was a challenging time for our parish,
but most particularly for our priests. Father Jolly got
us through it by celebrating online masses and sending
many encouraging messages. For us, it was a time for
spiritual introspection and growth. The inability to
physically receive Holy Communion left us with a sense
of loss, but it also fostered a greater appreciation for
the Eucharist. The Spiritual Revolution initiated by
Father Jolly offers us many opportunities for continued
growth and deeper fellowship with parishioners.
We are grateful for our Spiritual home and especially
our Spiritual Shepherds, Father Jolly, Monsignor Victor,
Father Charles, and Father Jins.
